Is it a badger or deer? Hands-on activities to get closer to nature...
Your task is to get closer to wildlife and nature...
You will need to get in tune with your natural instincts... We need to understand and get to know the ways of the wild-wood... You will be faced with many tasks and challenges... Take part in games of stealth and learn to move naturally... Discover ways to sharpen your senses and become aware of the world around you... You will need to navigate a maze of tracks and trails with maps and your senses... Can you work as a team to cross imaginary deep ravines? We will need to set up a quick camp using tarpaulins and rope... You will need to find kindling and light the Kelly kettle to make some tea... Search the wild-wood for suitable materials to make a bow and arrow... Learn how to track the animals of the wild-wood... Who will be first to spot their prey and who can shoot their arrow the furthest? Don't forget that we make sure we leave no trace of our visit before we go home. |
The chance is that you will not see any badgers... but we can find their tracks!
