No string – but we can make nettle rope! We need poles for the frame – what wood shall we use? Explore the wood searching for materials... OK we’ve found the poles – how can we get them back? Time is running out – we need to build the dens quick... Wow that was fun – lets see who has the best? Such hard work – a snack and warm drink would be nice... No matches, no paper – Ray Mears doesn’t need them nor do we! Shall we srike a spark or use a friction bow... Crackle crackle goes the fire... smoke is rising... Bubble bubble boils the water... lets try making tea with nettles or blackcurrents... Sit in my den... aah good shelter... mmm nice tea Before we go lets make it look as if no one has been here! |
